Over the past several weeks, the RRHS Law & Justice Academy has hosted guest speakers and guest instructors to enhance the student learning experience utilizing real world applications of basic law enforcement knowledge and skills.  Recent topics have included crime scene investigation and crime scene processing, use of force laws and procedures, handcuffing techniques, suspect approaches, unarmed self defense, patrol operations, and traffic stops.  Instructors from the Halifax County Sheriff's Office and the North Carolina Justice Academy assisted with skills training and practical application assessments of the high school's academy students.
