We are so very proud of RRHS teachers Kendra Jones and Wendy Sass, and RRHS Assistant Principal Julie Thompson for presenting at  the High Schools That Work Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, the week of July 11-15.  Ms. Jones presented FAL's (Formative Assessment Lessons) that she is using in her math class as she implements MDC (Math Design Collaborative) strategies. Mrs. Sass presented strategies for "accountable talks" in the classrooms - these are some of the mini tasks she uses as she implements LDC (Literacy Design Collaborative) strategies in her classes.  Mrs. Thompson presented how an LDC Coach supports and encourages teachers in the classroom.  Also presenting at this conference were Jeff White and Tammie Williams who shared how principals support teachers with LDC and MDC implementation.  RRHS Math Teacher Jacobie Bond also attended this conference.  Four thousand educators from across the nation were present at this conference!
